Lawn Bowls Greens

Wherever you are located in Victoria, 2MH Consulting can help with investigations, design, construction or rejuvenation of your council or club bowling green. Turf, synthetic greens, marking, drainage, lighting, seating, shade structures, fencing; we do it all. We can help you to prepare designs and specifications. If you would like assistance tendering the works we can project manage that for you. If you would prefer us to deliver the entire project, no problem. It's all about tailoring services to deliver just what you need to make it hassle free.

Assessing bowling green requirements

We can liaise directly with users, assess facilities and sporting code compliance, undertake survey works, help you to apply for funding and manage geotechnical and product investigations on your behalf.

Designing lawn bowls facilities

For new bowling greens, remedial works or full reconstructions we prepare all drawings and specifications. To ensure appropriate foundations geotechnical investigations may be required. We work with you to decide the number of rinks required to determine the necessary green size. We also discuss playing surface options with you including natural turf or synthetic options such as woven or needle punch synthetic carpets. While it is not glamorous, as any bowls player who has played in winter knows, appropriate drainage is critical. We ensure designs consider sub-surface and perimeter drainage infrastructure and required outfall.

Project managing delivery of new and refurbished lawn bowl facilities

Club members join bowls clubs to play, not be building managers. 2MH Consulting provides end-to-end project management to issue drawings for construction, manage requests for tender on your behalf and supervise construction contractors on site. We provide a holistic project management solution where we manage construction worries so you do not have to. Recent bowling club clients include:

    • Melton Bowling Club
    • Romsey Bowling Club
